Black Friday FAQ

What is your Black Friday return policy?

All sales are final during Black Friday so please choose your size carefully. Return to gift card is accepted for Underwire Bras only. We recommend consulting our Fit Guide if you need any clarification on sizing.

When will my order be shipped?

We aim to pack and send orders as quickly as possible! However, please expect some small delays during the Black Friday period. Your order will be sent no more than 7 business days after your order is placed.

Why isn't my discount code working at checkout?

During the Black Friday Sale, regular discount codes are deactivated because our site-wide discounts offer greater savings. Discount codes will be reactivated after the sale.

Is free shipping available during the sale?

Our usual free shipping threshold does not apply. With discounts up to 60%, we cannot absorb the cost of shipping as we typically do during non-sale periods.

Sizing and Fit

What is your size range?

Our undies are all available in sizes XS-XL. Our Soft Bras are available in sizes XS-L. Our Wire Bras are available in 10A-16E. As we are a small business, we have tried to be as inclusive as possible. If we don't have the size you are looking for, please contact us at hello@firstthing.com.au to let us know.

How do I know my size?

Our product is true to size and we recommend taking your normal size. Not quite sure what your size is? We made a handy Fit Guide to help make this easier. We also have individual product size recommendations on our product pages. Still need help? Please email us at hello@firstthing.com.au

If you didn't get the size quite right, we offer returns and exchanges on all bras within 30 days of receiving your purchase.

Returns and Exchanges

How do I make a return or exchange?

What is your return policy?

Items Eligible for A Return:

  • All bras and tops are eligible for a return or exchange.
  • Returns/exchanges are accepted within 30 days of placing order.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, free from stains and scents (e.g perfume) and still in original packaging.

Items Not Eligible for A Return:

  • All undies and bottoms due to hygiene reasons.

Sale Item Returns:

  • Sale items are only eligible for a return to gift card (excluding first time discounts).

All returns and exchanges will incur a flat fee of A$9.99 to cover the cost of return shipping. The original shipping costs are not refundable. First Thing is not liable for the loss or damage of items in return transit.

Returns/exchanges will be processed within 7 days of being received. Refunds will be to your original payment method and you will get an email notification once it is completed.

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship Australia wide. We do not ship to any countries outside of Australia but we hope to do so in the future.

How much does shipping cost?

$7.99 AUD Standard Shipping (2-6 business days)

$12.99 AUD Express Shipping (1-3 business)

Note: Shipping times are an estimate. You will receive email updates from Shippit on your parcels progress. We ship with Australia Post and you can track your order here.

When will my order be shipped?

All orders are processed within one to two business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive an email update once your order has been packed and shipped.

My order hasn't arrived, what should I do?

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@firstthing.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Orders

Can I cancel or change my order?

If you have not received confirmation of your order being shipped, then you may be able to cancel or change your order. Please email us promptly at hello@firstthing.com.au and we will do our best to accomodate you before your order is packed however, we cannot guarantee this.

What should I do if I have received the wrong item?

If you have received the wrong item or an item is missing, please email us at hello@firstthing.com.au and we can help you out.

What if I have received a faulty item?

Please send a photo of your faulty item to hello@firstthing.com.au and we will respond ASAP with instructions to resolve the issue.

Product

What materials do you use?

Our bottoms and soft bras are made from Modal which is a breathable, silk-touch fabric made from natural beech wood. Our bras are made from MIPAN® regen™️ which is a recycled polyamide that is made from recycled pre and post consumer waste to reduce waste to landfill and energy consumption.

Where is your product made?

Our product is made in both Indonesia and China and is labelled on the care label of your garment.

Do you only sell online?

For now, First Thing is sold exclusively online via our website www.firstthing.com.au
